Davis Partnership has been working with Encana, now known as Ovintiv, for over six years at the Republic Plaza Building. During that time Davis has completed remodels on six floors, totaling 150,000 square feet, to allow staff from floors being returned to building management to be consolidated to floors continuing to be leased by Encana. During this process, we were asked to develop design standards which could be used for another six floors throughout the building. Davis helped Encana to look at strategies to open the floors up for collaboration opportunities, to bring light into perimeter office spaces and to develop an updated aesthetic to the spaces while still meeting their construction budget.
