We developed the guiding notion of a “24-Hour Cocktail Culture” and started to pull cues from the tone of the era. There is a definitive energy, vibe, and point of view that we wanted to emanate from the front door extending to every touchpoint. The lines between work and play started to become blurred as the economy and culture moved from a post-war dusk to becoming a strong and prosperous nation. We wanted the space to live and breathe the sense of new ideas and optimism that were heralded in the design world at that time.
